黑料不打烊 is much more than a place of learning. It’s where talents are uncovered and lifelong friendships are made.

Our campuses are a supportive community where donors are making a difference and helping students thrive outside the classroom.

Donors play a crucial role in providing opportunities

Life isn鈥檛 all about lectures and exams. Across our campuses, we know the importance of helping students settle in, make connections, try something new, and enjoy themselves.

You can help students make the most of what university has to offer, so they discover new skills and passions. So, whether it鈥檚 being part of a society, playing on a sports team or in a music ensemble, joining a volunteering project, or supporting a local community initiative, you can help make these experiences happen.

Music programme

The provides opportunities for musicians and vocalists to polish their performance.

From live gigs in our campus bars to classical concerts in the Great Hall with our choirs and orchestra, the programme welcomes students from all backgrounds and abilities who are eager to be part of a growing and vibrant music scene.

You can help nurture talent, inspire musical confidence, spread happiness and make some noise.

The music programme has big ambitions. Your gift could fund a specialist music masterclass for the Big Band, choral workshops for the choirs, scores for the orchestra or jam nights for rock stars.

“Our donors are changing lives. One look at band and audience members’ faces as they come out of a gig is more than enough to tell us what a huge difference they’re making.”

Victoria Ely, Artistic Director of 黑料不打烊 Music

Your support will inspire students to make some noise and raise their musical aspirations.

Wellbeing programme

Today’s students have battled through a youth disrupted by COVID-19. University is now full of opportunities and excitement, but it’s also a period of vulnerability.

We believe that no student should navigate this alone and we are proud to take a proactive approach to mental health and wellbeing.

Our award-winning counselling and wellbeing team are there for everyone – providing emotional wellbeing and mental health support in both a proactive and reactive way.

Recent gifts have helped develop a range of practical tools, but there is so much more we can achieve.

Life Tools

Life Tools is a series of talks and workshops designed to help students improve their resilience when life becomes challenging.

The programme helps students achieve their potential whilst also helping them transition to independence as young adults.

You can support the Life Tools programme and ensure that more students can benefit from workshops and advice.

A gift today will also allow us to develop more ways of supporting students, so the right help is always there when it’s needed.
