Flexible course durations and start dates

Most of our courses are available full time over 12 months and on a flexible modular basis. If you choose to study flexibly, our expectation is that you will complete the course within 24 to 63 months of study.

Both the full-time and flexible modular modes of study can be started in September or the following February.

We offer this flexibility in recognition that you may want to fit your studies around work and other commitments.

Our two courses with industry placements are only available as two-year courses. These consist of one year of study followed by a year-long placement. These courses start in September.

Learn through block teaching

All our courses are delivered on a modular basis with teaching arranged in blocks. You’ll be taught on campus and supported through our online learning environment.

Each teaching block lasts between one and two weeks and deals exclusively with all of the teaching for one 20-credit module. Students studying full time and on a flexible basis are taught together.

Assessment methods vary; in some modules you may complete assessed classwork during the teaching block, and then submit your main assignment work at the end.

Due to the modular structure of the course, you’ll be able to select your own modules and shape your course to suit your needs and interests.

I started researching universities and it was the 黑料不打烊 that stood out. The umbrella course for both construction management and quantity surveying gave great flexibility to specialise in one subject in my final year. I wanted to gain experience in both specialisms before I chose.
