This course gives new Health & Safety Coordinators some information and guidance on their role

AIMS:

During the session we will:

• Go through the role of a Health & Safety Coordinator
• Give information and guidance about how to approach the role and the support you will receive
• Answer any questions or concerns you may have about being an HSC

OBJECTIVES - ON RETURNING TO THE WORKPLACE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO:

• Act confidently in your role as HSC
• Answer health & safety queries from your colleagues
• Represent your School/Directorate at health & safety committees and meetings

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

• Any member of staff nominated as a new HSC
• An already established HSC who would like a refresher
